Anyone have pointers to booking contacts for regional venues? Specifically looking for folk/blues/rock singer/songwriter venues. I gotta gig.

The booker likes to support new acts so if he likes your songs, you'll probably get in.
It's hard to get into the larger venues because they want a verifiable draw. If you have a friend who has a band with a draw, maybe you could open for them? If you keep trying, you're decent, and you acquire a draw you'll get in. Also, you might check out Amnesia's open mike.
